Professional Duties
At Graham, Cottrill, Jackson & Hostetter, LLP, we believe that our staff should have a well-rounded background. Therefore, we do not encourage specialization until several years into your career. This approach enables our staff to be knowledgeable about all the areas involved in each engagement. As an entry-level staff accountant, you will gain experience working on several different tax and audit engagements. Based on this varied experience, you will be better able to choose and pursue the area of specialization you most prefer.

Orientation
Upon arrival at Graham, Cottrill, Jackson & Hostetter, LLP, each new staff member attends a week of formal orientation presented by veteran members of the staff. The orientation program is composed of topics ranging from the Firm's policies and procedures to the Firm's approach to auditing. The goal of the orientation program is to get new members of the team acquainted with the life in the Firm. By having various members of the staff present different areas of the orientation program, new staff members are afforded the opportunity to meet other members of the staff on a one-to-one basis.

Commission Program
The Firm has instituted a compensation plan that provides staff members with an incentive to bring new clients into the Firm.

Cellular Telephone Program
Graham, Cottrill, Jackson & Hostetter, LLP has implemented a cellular telephone program that provides each staff member with a cellular telephone for business and personal use.
