The David W. Graham Scholarship
David W. Graham founded our firm in 1975. Originally with Peat
Marwick (now KPMG), David launched Graham, Cottrill, Jackson &
Hostetter, LLP with the same entrepreneurial spirit he encouraged in
his clients. David helped more people in more ways than anyone will ever
know.
David had a particular affinity for helping young people in the
beginning stages of their careers. Whenever David noted a motivated
young professional who could use an extra "boost," David was glad to
head up the "booster club."
David passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2000.
In keeping with the spirit of his generosity, our firm has created
The David W. Graham Scholarship for Interns. The scholarship is awarded
by the partners of the firm to selected students who have successfully
interned in our firm and plan to join our firm upon the completion of
the fifth year of accounting studies. The award is intended to assist
with the cost of the fifth-year studies (generally, up to $5,000).
We believe, like David, that sometimes that extra "boost" makes all
the difference in the world.
